RATTLESNAKE BEARS ACTION PLANNING WORKSHOP

Montana Technology Enterprise Center
1121 East Broadway Street, Missoula (a few buildings east of the Eastgate Shopping Center)
This workshop will bring together experts and stakeholders, including representatives from Allied Waste, Montana Fish, Wildlife, and Parks, the City of Missoula, nonprofit organizations, neighborhood groups, and residents, to discuss the issues that exist between black bears and residents living in the Rattlesnake Creek Valley.

Swan Valley Bear Resources will host their Spring Bear Wake Up Social
Thursday, April 21st from 5-8pm at Swan Valley Community Hall
Guest speakers include Tim Manley, Grizzly Bear Management Specialist for Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks and Seth Wilson, Wildlife Committee Coordinator for the Blackfoot Challenge. Appetizers and refreshments will be served. Doors open at 5pm and speakers will begin at 6pm. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Hope to see you there!

Join Erin Edge, with Defenders of Wildlife and Jamie Jonkel with Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in a workshop that will teach you the basics for keeping deer and elk out of gardens and how to safely contain small livestock predator-resistant electric fence. This workshop will provide you with the skills to garden and raise livestock along the urban-wild lands interface without creating unnatural food attractants for wildlife.
