2003 Locations of Bear Conflicts map:
Each red 'X' represents a report of a black bear conflict Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks received in 2003 (yellow "X" represents mountain lion sightings). There are so many reports in the Rattlesnake that one cannot distinguish individual conflicts. At the center of the red cluster is Wylie Ave., Raymond and Missoula Ave. The Rattlesnake Creek and Tom Greene Park form a natural funnel, bringing bears directly to Wylie Ave.
